My husband Matthew, Hadlee and I love to go camping on weekends, looking for different ways to create fun, adventure and those lasting memories.  We are very fortunate to come from big families and enjoy spending quality time with our relatives.

I am always around children, they are a big part of my life at home and at work.  I truly find endless fulfilment from being around younger children especially, as I watch, engage and nurture Hadlee.  I am extremely passionate about children's unique personalities, the challenges they may bring, building their confidence and overall, their health and wellbeing.

As the first point of contact in the Urangan service I aim to create an environment that is welcoming and informed for families and children that will in no doubt leave a lasting impression.  I feel most accomplished knowing that I have given families the best firsthand information and find it warming when they choose Bay Explorers to be a part of their family.

I look forward to each and every family that I get the pleasure of meeting and enrolling into care.  I also look forward to the working day as no one day is the same.  I can't wait to meet new families as they come to visit for the first time.

I have been a part of the Bay Explorers' family for over eight years now and some would say, one of the oldest staff members or what regular and past families would say, that long term familiar face.  I have seen a lot of children and families start their journeys with us and have been very fortunate to take part in their growth throughout that time.

I love all things cultural.  I am an Australian South Islander with a dash of some other strands too.  I grew up enjoying a lot of cultural experiences, family bonding activities, eating loads of curries and growing together with my two older brothers.  My immediate family are a close knit mob who help me to thrive every day to be the best person I can be and I truly believe they have a lot to do with the person I am today.

After work I come home to my husband and our three boys who are 13, 9 and 7. We love the NRL in our house, whether we are watching my kids playing or the professionals! I look forward to working alongside the team here to support a wonderful educational program.

I am married to my beautiful wife Ellie, and we have our three children Casey, Declan, and Abigail along with our fur babies and feather baby, so our life can be a bit crazy sometimes.

I am also currently studying my Bachelor of Early Childhood and loving every minute of it.

I am excited to be working in the Early Childhood and Care profession because this is my passion, and I look forward to establishing strong and positive relationships with all our families.

I am originally from Poland, I say originally because I was born there (like all my family) and I lived there for almost the first 20 years of my life but, I always knew that I wanted to see the world.  After my graduation I went to France and, after a short time had to come back and do my time with the Army.  When I was 22 I went to Ireland and spent 9 years there.  During that time I travelled and saw quite a bit, I also met up with a very good Australian friend who talked me into coming to Australia to see how great the living is and how beautiful the country is.  That was over 5 years ago and I don’t regret it at all.  I’m meeting great people, the weather is good and I can engage in sport activities outside almost every day.  Australia is so big and there is a lot still for me to see.

My children’s names are Felicity and Oliver, and we brought our first home in Hervey Bay in 2017 so we could raise our children here.  I have completed a Certificate III in Community Services in 2020 and a Diploma in Children’s Services in 2021. 

I enjoy developing strong relationships with the wonderful families - and my coworkers! - at Bay Explorers.   

I started my own Family Day Care business when my first child was born and continued this business for over 20 years all over Queensland. 

I am an animal lover and love to garden in my spare time. I believe children learn from being an active participant in their learning and their environments. If you see me around the centre, be sure to say hey.

I truly believe every child is unique, creative, and has their own little voice, sometimes loud, sometimes very loud, and I love helping them grow and shine in their own way. My goal as a Lead Educator is to create a safe, happy, and nurturing environment where children feel like they can conquer the world.

I’m so lucky to work with an amazing team who inspire me daily, and I can’t wait to build strong connections with all the families and children. Let’s make memories throughout the years, full of learning, laughter, and maybe a little glitter (okay, a lot of glitter)!

I grew up in Shepparton Victoria with my parents and siblings and now live in Hervey Bay with my partner Levi and our crazy cattle dog and cavoodle. We love spending our time outdoors enjoying rodeos, fishing, camping and much more!

I can’t wait to meet so many more new faces and families as I continue my time here at Bay Explorers.

I thoroughly love working with children and helping them to discover, learn and grow.  I aim to provide children with a variety of experiences that allow them to become confident and involved learners.  It’s very rewarding working with children and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

A little bit about me, I live Hervey Bay with my family and have welcomed my first child into the world which is super exciting, sharing this adventure with the team at Bay Explorers. My favourite things to do in my spare time are journaling, camping, going to the beach, shopping and spending quality time with my family. Over the last couple of years, it has been a pleasure to get to know all the little people at Bay Explorers and watching them grow as their personalities develop, I can’t wait to see what the future holds for my career at Bay Explorers.

I am a Diploma qualified Educator and you will find me assisting in all rooms. My family and I love the quieter lifestyle that Hervey Bay offers and you will find me pounding the pavement with regular walks along the beautiful esplanade or out in the boat enjoying the beaches and fishing.

In my spare time I love going to the beach and I also do martial arts (Karate) 3 days a week as it has been my passion for 4 years. I also have a big family so spending time with them is something I value.

I have 3 children and 2 dogs and have travelled to numerous places overseas but am now settled with my family back in Hervey Bay. I have worked in a range of kitchens and childcare is a new and exciting area for me, so I am looking forward to being a part of the Bay Explorers team.

I enjoy all things casual, embrace home life, pigging and quality times with family and friends.  I don’t mind a cold beverage or two and having a laugh with others.  I always enjoy making the most of every moment and I love being a Dad to Hadlee my adorable, sassy and out there daughter (she gets that from her mother).

If you see me around the Centre fixing, creating and engaging in the environments just say “Hi” I am always up for a friendly conversation.

In between I took some time with my husband to raise our 6 children that are now amazing adults, and we now look forward to spending more quality time together travelling and camping. I am looking forward to developing new relationships with the children, families and staff at Bay Explorers.

In my spare time I enjoy going camping, fishing and 4Wdriving.  I am looking forward to being part of an amazing team, and being able to learn new things, as well as mentor and help the children in their development.

I have always had a love for working with people so, childcare/early education is a perfect fit. The fact that no two days are ever the same is great and that we as people – or little people – are always growing, changing and evolving makes this a particularly rewarding career.

To me the first five years of life are a remarkable time to set the foundations for life, and a love of learning. I’m a Mum myself to a 7 year old daughter who brings so much joy, wonder, laughter – and some days, she sends challenges and learning curves my way. However, I would not change it for the world.

I believe every child is an individual and they have something great to offer the world. In my role it’s amazing to see their personalities emerge and flourish. I strive to build strong relationships with families and caregivers as well as my fellow team members, in a nurturing environment where children feel a sense of belonging. I feel the greatest gift we can give our children is confidence in themselves, and from there they can achieve anything.

When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with friends and family, shopping, going out for coffee, quiet nights in watching movies or reading a good book. Weekends are for cooking and baking. I enjoy travelling too, mostly to see family overseas.

I have been engaged to my wonderful partner since 2019 and we have a beautiful little girl named Octavia together. I also have a kitten named Gizmo. I’m very excited and very happy to be part of the Bay Explorers family and to build relationships with families, colleagues and of course the children.

I have an 8-year-old son, who is my world, and we share 3 dogs, 5 birds, 2 lizards and a snake.

I am the eldest of five girls and have 4 more foster siblings I look after regularly. 

I am very sporty and don't mind a good skateboard ride down along the Esplanade.

I have been involved in the Early Childhood Education and Care profession for six years, including time working in outside school hours care.  What I love the most about working with children is the fact that there is no limit to what they can achieve, no matter what age.  There is always something new and surprising that the children will show you every day.  

I believe that with encouragement, support, nurturing and education children will develop into their own unique characters.  In doing so, I look for opportunities and create space to allow th children to reach their full developmental potential with learning through play experiences and creativity.  I also believe it is very important to build up a sound relationship with each of them to make them feel more at ease and comfortable to be able to explore their surroundings.

I love everything sports related and spend my spare time on and around the netball courts, and with a little brother 12 years younger than me, he always keeps me on my toes and started my drive and passion for childcare.
