Bay Explorers provides children with the nurturing educational environment crucial to early learning and development. We provide North Lakes families with access to dedicated childcare and kindergarten programs for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years.
The foundation of our service is the belief that children should learn and develop through play. Our child care centre offers a wide range of planned and spontaneous educational experiences for children of all ages. The goal of our educational programs is to foster independence, learning and development in a multitude of ways. By the time your child leaves our childcare and kindergarten, they will have developed all the social, psychological mental and physical skills necessary for a smooth transition into primary education.
North Lakes’ parents can enroll their children with us confident that their young ones will be nurtured and encouraged in a positive and safe environment. Our classrooms reflect a homelike ambience and are designed to cater to the developmental needs of your child at each stage of their early learning. We have nursery, toddler, junior, senior and kindergarten classrooms as well as three outdoor play areas custom built to suit varying levels of physical capability.
All of the staff at our childcare centre and kindergarten are fully qualified early learning educators who are wholly dedicated to the developmental needs of children. Our educators are committed to enriching the play and activities of the children at Bay Explorers to ensure they have all the resources and support necessary to flourish and develop. At the child care level, our educators implement the Early Years Learning Framework system of learning to foster early education and socialisation. In our kindergarten, the Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines are used to ensure children are fully equipped with the skills necessary to transition smoothly and successfully into primary school.
